47th Annual MVRA Benefit Classic

Come out and celebrate the 47th Annual Dubuque Benefit Classic Half Marathon and 5K! The race will start and end at the IMON Arena.

This course highlights some of Dubuque’s most beautiful areas including the Bee Branch and the Mississippi River. This course is completely flat and we look forward to seeing some fast times this year!

This race is the perfect training run for those gearing up for one of the many Midwest fall marathons. Each racer will receive an exclusive 2025 Benefit Classic Hat! There will not be shirts this year.

We will again have the “Merge 1 Miler” for kids 12 and under for FREE!! You can purchase a youth hat for the kids race for $10 at checkout.

The half marathon course will close at 11:00 am. Runners must be at the half way point by 9:15.

Awards Information

For the half marathon, the overall male and female winners 1st-3rd place will receive a cash prize as well as 1st – 3rd master’s finishers (40+) male and female.

The race will be chip-timed and awards will be based on gun time.

Online registration will be open until noon on Friday, September 12.  

​PACKET PICK-UP 
Packet pick-up will be Friday, September 12 from 4:00-5:00pm at Flora Park and the morning of the race from 6:30-7:00am.

Registration will also be available at packet-pickup and same day after online registration closes. There is no same day registration for the relay. No hats guaranteed after August 30th. Hats will be in place of shirts this year.
